Dear Friends and Patrons of FTC
,

FTC works hard to fuel your passions.  We need your passions to fuel FTC.

At FTC we do our best to bring you a truly stimulating series of concert and cultural events.  It hasn't been easy given current economic trends.  Last fall, we felt a drop in ticket sales and lost income from two important sponsors.  Lately, sales are returning to normal but the preceding conditions left us with an unexpectedly high operating loss.  If we were a major bank or a big auto maker, we might hope for a government bailout.  But as your local not-for-profit arts and entertainment provider we must look to you, our loyal patrons, for help.

Think about what FTC means to you.

        FTC has:

  • Presented hundreds of great artists in the intimacy of StageOne and in the historic elegance of The Klein Auditorium.
  • Sponsored educational programs including our Summer Cabaret Workshop for hundreds of area children.
  • Hosted a weekly Farmers Market in our warehouse and...
  • Collaborated on fundraising events with groups like Rotary, Music and Arts Center for Humanity and Band Together - raising more than one hundred and fifty thousand dollars for local charities.

As more of you become Members and make modest donations, our future will be secured.

There are very few things you can do today that will cost so little, and yet mean so much.  Help FTC keep the music, and culture alive in our community.

Our Recovery Plan: You Stimulate FTC and FTC will stimulate you.  Deal?

Many thanks,

P.S Did you read Jan Ellen Spiegel's profile of FTC in this Sunday's New York Times?

Quote:
"Fairfield Theatre Company...has turned two underused venues into powerhouse theatres offering more than 150 concerts a year and orchestrating collaborations that have turned this swath of suburbia into an unlikely arts incubator."
