The word poco - meaning unimportant in Spanish - has little to do with Poco, country rock's founding band and a big influence on groups like the Eagles. Formed by Jim Messina, Richie Furray and steel guitarist Rusty Young in '68 when Buffalo Springfield split, Young stayed for the full ride. Their debut album, Picking up the Pieces, was one of the only albums to ever receive a perfect score in Rolling Stone.
