Once in a while we have the opportunity to present a true legend. An artist renowned for both their substance and style, a player who's guitars name is a household one. Now 88, he is still the reigning king of the blues, defining the uniquely American genre world wide. He is synonymous with, and inseparable from the blues. A pivotal player in it's rise, and a key in taking it national and beyond. As an entrepreneur, his clubs have helped sustain rock and roll, serving as venues for many of today's greatest touring acts. Perhaps no one knows life on the road better. He began his career strong playing over 340 dates on the Chitlin Circuit in 1956 alone. In the mid 1950's - following a row over a woman named Lucille - he stumbled out of 'The Twist' and into history. Now, on the 18th of April, we have the honor of welcoming him to The Klein Auditorium.
