Buddy Guy is a living legend. From 1953 on, he has been a name to know in the blues. He was a member of Muddy Waters’ band in the sixties, and house guitarist at the Chess Records; his influence can be seen in guitarists like Eric Clapton, and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Buddy Guy is known far and wide as one of the greatest guitarists of all time, living or otherwise. Guy began playing guitar on a hand made Diddley Bow, later receiving a Sears and Roebuck Harmony Guitar, now housed in the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. With this guitar he developed his signature sound; a distinct variant on Chicago Blues which veers off into avant-garde, free, and soulful styles. Joining Buddy Guy will be renowned rock band, Los Lobos. With a rollicking mixture of Rock n' Roll, Tex - Mex, and traditional Mexican folk, Los Lobos have been in the spotlight since the early 1980's. 1983 saw the release of their EP, "... And A Time To Dance," and the purchase of a Dodge Van. Los Lobos have been on the road ever since. Over the course of their career they've developed a dedicated fan base and an iron clad sense of identity, paying equal tribute to their rock sound and their cultural roots. Los Lobos have broadened their scope and gotten bigger and better as the years have gone by. This Fall they celebrate their 40th anniversary with a new live album, "Disconnected In New York City." “This is what happens when five guys create a magical sound, then stick together for 30 years to see how far it can take them.” - Rolling Stone Concert Tickets $45, $65, $75, $85, $95
