In this Masterclass, through live song performance and conversation, he’ll share his approach to working with artists, his creative process in composition, and his journey through the world of musical storytelling.

David Friedman

David Friedman is a Music Director, film composer, and songwriter who won the 2018 Drama Desk Award for his musical Desperate Measures. He served as the music conductor for several of Disney’s animated classics, including Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, as well as Broadway productions such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Beauty and the Beast. He was also a regular on the Today Show's “Everyone Has a Story” series with Kathie Lee Gifford.
