Study Up
Make Music Fairfield is Music Performed by Anyone, Enjoyed by Everyone. A Free Celebration Open to Anyone of Any Age, Skill Level and Musical Persuasion! Make Music Fairfield 2024 is brought to the community through the support of the Town of Fairfield’s Office of Community and Economic Development, Fairfield Theatre Company and Believe Your Grreatness, 501c(3) organizations, the Connecticut Office of the Arts, Scott Vincent Photography, and enthusiastic volunteers.

The School of Rock Fairfield House Band music program gives students under 18 the opportunity to join a gigging band composed of fellow musicians from their school. These students perform additional live shows throughout the year. All students in the Performance Program have the opportunity to audition for a spot in School of Rock Fairfield's House Band. Once selected, House Band members become leaders in their School of Rock community and perform live shows at CT rock venues throughout the year.

Christian Aja plays progressive percussive instrumental fingerstyle acoustic guitar. The aim of this stye which was pioneered by guys like Micheal Hedges Tommy Emmanuel, Andy McKee, and Mike Dawes, is to play all the parts of the band on one acoustic guitar all at once. This style is unlike anything most people have ever seen and stretches the limits of what you thought was possible with just one box with strings.

Hannah Jane is a singer/songwriter who can often be found singing with the classic rock cover band Mr. Know It All! She performs rock, soul, r&b, and songwriter classics on her guitar Lola.

The Moonrise Cartel combines heartfelt songwriting, melodies that stick and sweeping vocal harmonies for songs that sound like they have been loved for decades. Stephanie Harrison's voice has been deservingly likened to the greats; often compared to Stevie Nicks and Emmylou Harris due to her timeless tone. Al Pascarelli has honed his craft of honest and beautiful songwriting that is simple in the best way possible. His deep, gravelly tone offers the perfect counterpoint to Stephanie. Sean O'reilly consistently creates masterful piano accompaniments that take the songs to gut wrenching and foot stomping levels. His playing is likened to a combination of Tori Amos and Bruce Hornsby. Together they have achieved in a very short time a type of musical magic that cannot be fabricated but simply is sometimes, found.
