Study Up
Make Music Fairfield is Music Performed by Anyone, Enjoyed by Everyone. A Free Celebration Open to Anyone of Any Age, Skill Level and Musical Persuasion! Make Music Fairfield 2024 is brought to the community through the support of the Town of Fairfield’s Office of Community and Economic Development, Fairfield Theatre Company and Believe Your Grreatness, 501c(3) organizations, the Connecticut Office of the Arts, Scott Vincent Photography, and enthusiastic volunteers.

The School of Rock Fairfield House Band music program gives students under 18 the opportunity to join a gigging band composed of fellow musicians from their school. These students perform additional live shows throughout the year. All students in the Performance Program have the opportunity to audition for a spot in School of Rock Fairfield's House Band. Once selected, House Band members become leaders in their School of Rock community and perform live shows at CT rock venues throughout the year.

Christian Aja plays progressive percussive instrumental fingerstyle acoustic guitar. The aim of this stye which was pioneered by guys like Micheal Hedges Tommy Emmanuel, Andy McKee, and Mike Dawes, is to play all the parts of the band on one acoustic guitar all at once. This style is unlike anything most people have ever seen and stretches the limits of what you thought was possible with just one box with strings.

Hannah Jane is a singer/songwriter who can often be found singing with the classic rock cover band Mr. Know It All! She performs rock, soul, r&b, and songwriter classics on her guitar Lola.

The Moonrise Cartel is an American folk rock band blending folk, classic rock and Americana with a touch of gospel. The band features soaring harmonies, introspective lyrics, and a vintage sound profile that is reminiscent of the Laurel Canyon music scene balanced with a modern touch to be equal parts timeless, and for the time. Fueled by songwriter Al Pascarelli’s deeply personal writings of a lifelong battle with mental illness, alcoholism and eventual emergence out of the darker shades of the human experience, this is a band with several gears and one that takes you on an incredible journey. His voice is coupled upfront by Stephanie Harrison who wows with striking vocal prowess, bobbing effortlessly between stunning power and heartbreakingly delicate delivery. Gorgeous layers of ambient color come through Sean O’reilly with his piano and harp arrangements, often at the same time. Finally, it is all held together on the rock solid backdrop of Benji LeFevre and Steve Tobey on the low end of bass and drums.
