Two rising guitarists join together for a sweltering night of blues. One of Joe Satriani’s favorite guitarists, as well as one of ours, Davy Knowles returns to StageOne after a blow-out first FTC performance back in January. He’s teaming up with 2010 Blues Artist of the Year + Boston Music Award Winner, Johnny A. who returns for his 11th performance on StageOne.  Both of these guitarists are experts in their craft. With two unique takes on the electric blues, this is sure to be an evening for the ages. Peter Frampton says that Knowles is “the gunslinger guitarists of the 21st century” and we fully support that remark. The self taught guitarist Johnny A plays like he’s talking with an old friend. His natural approach has taken him a long way through stints with members of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Santana, Derek And The Dominoes, and J. Geils Band. Walking the line between jazz and heavy blues, Johnny A is a talent you can’t quite pin down. Think Hendrix, think Page, Clapton, or Prince. In the few whirlwind years since his first US show at SXSW, Davy Knowles has achieved more than most artists in an entire career. He has a Peter Frampton produced album, multiple radio and TV appearances including Kimmel, CBS morning, and NPR's World Cage, plus he has performed at festivals including Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Austin City Limits. “Davy already has a recognizable style. He’s definitely the gunslinger guitarist of the 21st century.’’ - Peter Frampton Concert Tickets $38
