Tight, funky, and fiercely improvisational, Denver's The Motet is dedicated to setting the groove, making their claim as a must-see progressive funk band.  They just finished up some of the funkiest sets at NOLA Jazz Fest and they're keeping the vibes alive throughout August. The Motet is performing at High Sierra, Peach Fest, and Camp Barefoot and ... guess what? They're kind enough to make a pitstop in The Warehouse to perform in front of Fairfield's finest.  The band lineup has just been revamped as their freshest yet. Saxophonist Drew Sayers (John Brown's Body) and lead singer Lyle Divinsky have just been added as permanent members of the septet. Soulful, funky, and fly.
