First, understand that this is a band known for making a BIG first impression. As the jam scene’s resident merrymaker, Andy Frasco puts on a live performance that is one of the most entertaining and fun on the road today. Is this blues? Not by a long stretch. It is blues-rock at best, and very much at the rock end of that spectrum. It is also however highly enjoyable, technically impressive and viscerally exciting. This is music to get lost in and to dance to, with a knowingly absurdist sense of humor and an almost reckless indifference to genres and categorization. It is what rock and roll should be.
What To Expect: A music party made of two hours of pure entertainment, fun, excitement and, most importantly, great music played by highly skilled musicians.
Hear For Yourself: You get a taste of the energy of this band playing "C Boogie." Somewhere between Jerry Lee Lewis piano chops and raw, powerful blues, the number proves indisputably that Frasco is here for a good time.
"In my jumbled brain, Andy Frasco & the U.N. is what you get if you throw March Forth, The All-Mighty Senators, Hoots & Hellmouth, and Pigeons Playing Ping Pong into a room directed by Frank Zappa." - Music Fest News
