LISA LAMPANELLI’S LOSIN’ IT! makes its worldwide debut at FTC’s StageOne on November 3rd. During this humorous and heartfelt 90-minute storytelling show, Lisa Lampanelli and her cast of professional actors, storytellers, and other surprise guests will have audience members howling with recognition as they hear their stories about trying to maintain sanity when it comes to “losing it.” Lampanelli, a nationally known comedian who made headlines when she lost more than 100 pounds more than half-a-decade ago, organized the show to shine an intimate but hilarious light on the universal problem of body-image and weight struggles. “Food is the only constant in our lives from day one, so no wonder we’re obsessed with it,” she laughs from her home in Fairfield. “Well, that and the fact that I can’t put on a pair of jeans without getting both a muffin top AND a camel toe!” A generous portion of the proceeds from the two performances (3 p.m. and 8 p.m.) will benefit Lampanelli’s chosen charity, The Center for Family Justice in Bridgeport, CT. The organization strives to break the cycle of abuse and violence – domestic, sexual, and child – by providing services that create hope, restore lives, and drive social change through education and community collaboration. VIP includes: preferred seating, cocktail and small plate reception with Lisa and all performers, signed program, photos with Lisa, up close and personal Q & A session. Concert Tickets $75 / $175 VIP
