February is all about love at Play With Your Food, Fairfield County’s popular lunchtime theater series! Join us at 12 noon February 4 & 5 at Toquet Hall (58 Post Rd. East), Tuesday, February 11 at Fairfield Theatre Company, and February 12 & 13 at Greenwich Arts Council (299 Greenwich Avenue) for a delicious lunch followed by three irresistible one-act plays and talkback with the professional cast of actors. Expect to walk out the door at 1:30 pm thinking about these plays the rest of the day! The “menu” for Westport and Fairfield includes excerpts from Nora and Delia Ephron’s hit play Love, Loss and What I Wore (based on the book by Ilene Beckerman) and A Minuet by Louise N. Parker. Greenwich plays include dark comedy The Bridge Play by Danielle Trczinski (recently performed at the Short Play Festival at 59East59 Theaters) and the topical The Gun Show by Pulitzer Prize winner David Auburn. Fairfield County newcomers Gruel Britannia will cater lunch to Westport audiences and Dilly Duck Shop will cater lunch to Fairfield audiences. The always popular Garelick & Herbs will bring its delicious array of sandwiches and salads to the Greenwich crowd. Doors open at 12 noon for lunch for all dates with the performances following at 12:30 pm. Each performance concludes with a talkback with the cast and Director.
