CREATE THE FUTURE.
‑ JOHN REID PRODUCING ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
The campaign to build The Warehouse is all about the community. We asked folks what they wanted and the resounding answer was "more." More live music, more art, more theatre, more film, more culture - more FTC!
With your support we are going to build a new world-class performing arts venue right here in downtown Fairfield that will serve our community better than ever.
This will allow us to attract world-renowned artists and entertainers who require a larger venue, providing greater variety for our audiences. Building upon the solid foundation we've built over the past 14 years, this is the next logical step. The community spoke and we listened. The new venue will provide significant cultural and economic benefits to the community. The plan is in place and work is underway, but we can't pull it off without your help! Think of the bragging rights. Everyone who steps up to help will be able to say now and forever, 'I built The Warehouse at FTC!'

In the existing FTC facility next to StageOne in the heart of downtown Fairfield. 70 Sanford Street, Fairfield, CT. (across from the Fairfield Train Station)
8,000 square feet
640 people (3 times the size of StageOne)
Designed by Michael Smith Architects, The Warehouse, which will retain its early mid-century industrial look and feel, will include a second floor mezzanine, modular staging, and flexible seating to host a wide variety of shows and events
A significant amount of the project costs will go in to what matters the most – sound and lights. The Warehouse will be acoustically engineered and equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting systems.
In addition to live music concerts, FTC will leverage the space to present theatre, film, cultural events, fundraising galas, business expos and fairs, corporate events, and private parties. FTC anticipates that the larger venue and broader programming will attract many more arts patrons from all over the region.
We'll add up all your donations and bump you up to the appropriate level and make sure you get the gift(s) associated with that level.
No, The Warehouse venue will not replace StageOne. Nothing could ever replace StageOne. StageOne is our crown jewel and we will continue to use it as much as ever. It's a fantastic facility and well loved by our artists and patrons, but it has significant limitations in terms of size and programming options. The new venue will allow us to introduce a whole new universe of world-class artists and productions to the area.
Yes, we will continue to do shows on StageOne, at The Klein, and at Norwalk Concert Hall.
There are many, many artists that will be perfect for The Warehouse (which will be three times the size of StageOne) that are too big for StageOne and can't scale into Norwalk or The Klein.
