New Haven's own Eggy returns to StageOne after their sold-out show last March.
Drawing influences from classics like Bruce Hornsby, CSNY, Herbie Hancock, and the like, Eggy is fresh but familiar. Moving lyrics and four piece harmonies coupled with eclectic improvisations create performances that take on a life of their own. Eggy’s music offers the full pallet style as they play tremendously high-energy shows from start to finish.
"Powerful sections of soulful rock in these last songs demonstrated the group’s knack for laying down heartfelt music at a slow crawl of a tempo. But, it wouldn’t be an Eggy set if such was not intermissoned (sic) also by a stretch of freewheeling, improvisational-leaden disco rock" - Grateful Web
