What is the Fairfield Theatre Company?

The Fairfield Theatre Company, a not-for-profit organization of arts professionals and community leaders dedicated to a simple premise - that the broadest spectrum of live entertainment and cultural exchange is essential to the vitality of our society. We believe that our quality of life depends on opportunities to get out, and come together in public places to enjoy art, music, drama, dance, all manner of creative and intellectual discourse, and to participate in these activities to the fullest.

How can I purchase tickets for The Klein Auditorium? Stage One? What’s the number to call the box office and where is the box office located?

There are several ways to purchase tickets:

• through our website, www.fairfieldtheatre.org,
• call the box office at 203-259-1036 from 12-5 Monday through Sunday
• go to our permanent box office on 70 Sanford St in Fairfield from 12-5 Monday through Sunday.

Where is The Klein Auditorium? StageOne?

Ticketing

Do I have to set up an account to purchase tickets?

Yes, when you purchase tickets we ask for your personal information so we can mail your tickets or contact you in case a performance is canceled or rescheduled.

Do you have a seating chart for The Klein Auditorium? StageOne?

Are Showbucks Cards redeemable on the web?

No, they are not redeemable through our website but you can call the box office or bring the card to our box office to redeem it.

Do you have handicap seating? Does The Klein Auditorium have an elevator to get to the second floor?

We have handicap seating for both The Klein Auditorium and StageOne. To see if handicap seating is available, contact our box office at 203-259-1036 from 12 noon-5 Monday through Sunday. The Klein Auditorium does not have an elevator all handicap seating is located on the ground level.

What are the benefits of membership to FTC? Do memberships expire?

All MEMBERSHIPS ACCESS THE FOLLOWING PRIVILEGES:
1. Advance ticket buying period for Members only
2. Special offers and invitations to Member only events
3. Weekly e-mail newsletter subscription
4. Member discount(s) on ticket(s) (based on the level of membership) range from $4 - $10 off the ticket price
5. All memberships are tax deductible
6. Membership lasts for 1 year from the date of purchase

How do I apply my member discount to my order?

1. Start by logging in: here
2. Browse the calendar page that comes up after you login, or view all events here
3. Click the "Purchase" link
4. Click the seating chart to see which seats are available
5. Select your desired seats
6. The bottom portion of the screen shows the section, row, seat and price type
7. Click the "Price Type" bar where it says "Standard" - other price options will now become available
8. You must apply your member discount to each ticket based on your membership level
9. If your order looks correct in the shopping cart hit the "Add To Cart" button

What are service charges? Is there a way to waive the fees?

Please click http://fairfieldtheatre.org/terms/#fees to read more about service charges. We waive convenience and order processing fees if you purchase tickets at our permanent box office at 70 Sanford St. We charge the order processing fee of $2.00 two hours prior to show time for a performance.

The facility fee of $3.00 for The Klein Auditorium is a fee that cannot be waived.

Can I buy tickets for The Klein Auditorium or StageOne through Ticketmaster or Live Nation?

No, Fairfield Theatre Company's box office and website are the sole provider of tickets for The Klein Auditorium and StageOne.

How do I know that my order was processed?

After you finish your order you will receive a order confirmation e-mail (don't forget to check your spam/junk folder). If you do not receive a confirmation e-mail contact the box office at 203-259-1036 from 12 noon-5 PM Monday through Sunday.

I requested to have my tickets mailed, what should I expect.

Tickets come in a small white envelope measuring about 3X5 inches from FTC. If you do not receive your tickets 2 days prior to a performance, please contact the box office at 203-259-1036 from 12 noon-5PM.

What is will call?

Will call is a method to pick up tickets. At The Klein Auditorium there is a table in the lobby of The Klein Auditorium dedicated for will call pick up. You will need to present your photo id and credit card that you used to purchase the tickets.

I purchased fan club tickets can I pick them up in advance?

No, all fan club tickets will be available to pick up on the night of the performance when doors open.

What do I need to pick up my tickets that are being held at will call and when can I pick them up?

You need to have your photo id and credit card that you used to purchase the tickets. You can pick up tickets when doors open and any time during the performance.

Are tickets refundable? What if a show is rescheduled or canceled?

There are no refunds. There is an exception if the performance is canceled. We offer a full refund or credit to an upcoming performance. If a show is rescheduled you have 3 options:

1. If you cannot attend we will offer a full refund
2. If you cannot attend we will offer a credit towards an upcoming show
3. your original ticket(s) will be honored for the rescheduled date.

What is Standing Room?

All StageOne performances with reserved seating also have a standing room section. FTC does provide a limited amount of high back chairs that are located behind House Right for standing room patrons. These chairs are first come first serve. If you arrive and there are no high back chairs available you will have to stand.

Events

Where can I park?

There is a parking lot located directly across the street.  The parking lot is well lit and secure. As a request for better security in our lot we charge a nominal fee of $5.00.

There is a parking lot directly outside of StageOne, in addition there is parking in the vicinity.

Is there a train station close by?

The Klein Auditorium – The Metro North stops in Bridgeport, it is about 1 mile from The Klein Auditorium. It's a 4-5 minute cab ride.

StageOne – The Metro North stops in Fairfield. StageOne is right across the street from the Fairfield Train Station.

What are the age requirements for a show?

All performances are all ages unless otherwise noted on our website.

When do doors open for a performance?

Doors open at 7:00 PM for shows at The Klein Auditorium and StageOne unless otherwise noted.

Do the venues serve food?

No, The Klein Auditorium and StageOne do not serve food.

Do your venues serve alcohol?

Yes, The Klein Auditorium and StageOne serve beer, wine anf liquor. In addition, they have water and soda.

Do the venues accept credit cards? Do you have an ATM?

The box office at The Klein Auditorium and StageOne accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. There is an ATM available at the Klein but not at StageOne. The bars at The Klein Auditorium and StageOne only accept cash.

Can I buy a ticket the day of the show?

Yes, if there are tickets available you can purchase them the day of at the door, through our box office or website. Tickets purchased over the phone or website will be held for you to pick up at will call. You will need to present a photo id as well as the credit card to pick up your tickets.

Do any tickets become available at the last minute for a sold out show?

It is rare that tickets become available to a show but you can contact the box office to see if any tickets are available.

I think the show I want to attend may be sold out? I called the box office and no one picked up, does that mean it's sold out?

If you call the box office and no one picks up it doesn't necessarily mean a performance is sold out, there are times when our box office staff is assisting other customers and cannot take your call. You can leave a message, try calling back or go to our website, www.fairfieldtheatre.org.

Is The Klein Auditorium seated or standing room? StageOne?

The Klein Auditorium is a seated venue with two tiers, for a seat map click here. StageOne is a seated venue with three sections, for a seat map click here. Some shows at StageOne are standing room but we have a section of seats available that are general admission.

Is there re-entry at the show?

No, there is no re-entry.

Can I take pictures?

Photography is at the discretion of the bands management. If management allows photography no flash is allowed.

Do you have a coat check?

No, The Klein Auditorium and StageOne do not have a coat check.

Are there any hotels in the area?

Yes, the Holiday Inn of Bridgeport is about 1 mile from The Klein Auditorium, click here to find out more.

FTC Receives Grant from Fairfield County Community Foundation

Fairfield Theatre Company is pleased to announce that it has received a $20,000.00 Grant for Operations from the FCCF. The funding will be used to install additional software in conjunction with the Tessitura Network Software, a ticket sales and patron management software.
