Jake Clemons, nephew of the late great Clarence Clemons, is a multi-talented writer, singer, and instrumentalist. You've likely seen him filling his uncle's shoes in the E Street Band, and while this is his most public role it's far from his only home. Clemons has been touring, playing, and inspiring with his own band shifting between guitar, keyboard, and vocals. His Eponymous band is a mix of old friends and new pros. Their sound is multifaceted occasionally showing a tender side reminiscent of Five for Fighting, and of course the heavy velocity of Bruce Springsteen. “It’s called ‘Embracing Light'" says Clemons. "It’s about hope in the present and leaving the past behind. It uses horns and it’s got an overdriven rock ’n’ roll feel to it. It has my heavier influences, somewhere between classic American rock and Brit rock.”
Come on out and see this great new talent in action.
