After hearing the sweet licks of the late Stevie Ray Vaughan, New England's own Albert Cummings picked up his first guitar. He was struck with inspiration and poured himself into blues – shortly after finding a home in the circuit with his band Swamp Yankee.
2003 marked the release of his first solo record, “From The Heart" and shortly thereafter began sharing the stage with heroes and legends alike including BB King, Buddy Guy, John Hammond, Susan Tedeschi, and many, many more.
"Although Cummings’ brand of blues is generally anything but pure, especially in the live setting, you can expect to be mollified with electrifying blues-rock and barnstorming oomph. The blues is certainly present in the music, but his style is one that recognizes no boundaries." - Boston Blues
